Rock Hard




this tutorial was written by Mizteeque on 6th July 2014
written in psp9 but any version should work
any similarities to other works is purely conincidental

Supplies needed:

Tube of choice - I am using the artwork of Very Many
which you can purchase HERE or HERE
Scrapkit - Feel the Rock HERE
mask of choice
Font of choice - I am using Baker Script
Filter - Penta.com, Dot & cross

OK Lets begin!!

Note:  c/p = copy and paste as new layer
d/s = dropshadow 2,5,50,8, black


1. Open blank canvas 800 x 800
floodfill white

2. c/p paper 11
apply mask

3. c/p frame 06
resize by 69

4. c/p winged heart element3
resize by 69
move to the bottom of the frame
d/s

5. c/p music scatter
resize by 69
move below frame layer
and down a bit so its under your heart
d/s

6. make frame layer active,
magic wand, click inside the left square of frame
selections, expand by 4
c/p tube, position so face shows inside selection
selections invert
hit delete on your keyboard

repeat for right square

merge tube layers together
and move under your frame

filters - penta, dot & cross
default settings
change blend mode to hard light

7. c/p tube again,
resize to fit and position in middle of tag but
under the winged heart
d/s

8. c/p staffdoodle
resize by 50
position to top right corner of frame
d/s

9. c/p keyboard
resize by 30
postion to bottom left of frame
d/s

10. c/p flame 01
using your deform tool, squish it left & right so it
fits right across your frame
position under frame layer and inline with the top of the frame
duplicate
change blend mode on bottom flame to hard light
change blend mode on top flame to screen

11.  make top layer active
c/p skull01
resize by 30
position to the bottom right corner of frame
d/s

12. d/s frame

13.  Add name and copyright information
delete white background layer
merge visible
crop and save as png.

Open blank canvas 700 x 200
copy and paste tube as new layer

duplicate, resize by 80
drag under original tube, position to the right slightly
duplicate, resize by 80
drag under 1st duplicate, lower opacity to 56, position to the right slightly
duplicate, resize by 80
drag under 2nd duplicate, lower opacity to 46, position to the right slightly
duplicate, resize by 80
drag under 3rd duplicate, lower opacity to 36, position to the right slightly
Merge all tube layers
position so the smallest one is against the right hand side of your tag

new raster layer, floodfill white
layers arrange, send to bottom

preset shape tool, rectangle, background colour one from your tube
draw out a slim rectangle from left to right right across canvas
convert to raster layer, position towards top of tag
duplicate x 2 and position one in the middle of the tag and one toward the bottom
so you have 3 thick stripes across your tag
merge the 3 stripes together

select all, float, defloat, expand by 3
new raster layer, floodfill with another colour from your tube
add noise, random, 46, monochrome checked
deselect

copy and paste tube as new layer
resize 150
position to left 
change blend mode to screen

Add some sparkles here if you wish

Add name and copyright information
merge all flatten
new raster layer
floodfill with the 2nd colour from your tube
select all, contract by 4, hit delete
add noise as before
merge all flatten 
save as jpg

to make matching avatar

custom selection tool
top & left 0, bottom & right 150
selections, edit selection, position the red square on your tag where you like
edit selection, copy
deselect

paste as new image
add border like we did for the banner
add name and cr
merge all flatten
save as jpg

Dancing Queen



Supplies needed;

Dancing/Dancer Tube(s) of choice, One with different sized layers works well

Open blank canvas 800 x 800
floodfill white

c/p tube as new layer
muras meister, copies, wallpaper rotate, default settings
adjust blur, motion blur, angle 127, strength 100
repeat

Tramage, pool shadow, default settings, or to your choosing

duplicate this "paper" layer twice
rename paper layers 1, 2, & 3

c/p frame
resize by 70
rotate right 90
duplicate twice
rename frame 1, frame 2 & frame 3

frame 1 rotate right 6
frame 2 rotate left 3
frame 3 rotate left 6

position so frame 1 is in the middle
frame 2 on the left
and frame 3 on the right
slightly overlapping each other 

Now in your layer palette, drag paper 3 up so its under frame 3
drag paper 2 up so its under frame 2
and paper1 should be under frame 1


Hide the top 4 layers


frame 1 active
magic wand, feather 0
click inside the frame, expand by 2, invert
on paper 1 hit delete
deslect

Unhide paper 2 and frame 2
click inside frame 2, expand by 2, invert
on paper 2 hit delete
deselect

repeat for frame/paper 3 layers

make paper 3 active, select all, float, defloat
c/p close up tube, position inside frame to your liking
invert, hit delete
deselect

make paper 1 active, select all, float, defloat
c/p medium sized tube, (or same tube as before and resize by about 70)
position inside frame to your liking
invert, hit delete
deselect

Now add a drop shadow to all the frame layers
2,5,50,8, black

c/p curved stitches
duplicate, image mirror, position so they are across the bottom half of your frames 

delete white background layer
merge visible

c/p full length tube as new layer
position over frame 2
dropshadow as before

c/p wordart to right of full lenghth tube
colorize/fill to match your tag

c/p crown (its made to fit round the Q)

dropshadow wordart & crown

c/p ballet slippers
resize by 40
colorize to suit your tag
position to your liking
dropshadow

Add name and copyright/license information
merge visible
save as png
